BIRDS AND ANIMALS TRANSPORTATION

Pets (birds) can be transported as baggage.

Pets (birds) may be carried in the aircraft cabin with the consent of the carrier.

Transporting pets (birds) the passenger is obliged to provide the necessary documents stipulated by the legislation of the Russian Federation, international treaties and laws of the country to the territory, from the territory or through the territory of which the transportation is carried out.

Pets (birds) in case of air carriage should be placed in a sturdy container (cage), which provides the necessary comfort during the transportation, air access and a reliable lock.

The bottom of the container (cage) must be tight, waterproof and covered with absorbent material.

The container (cage) should exclude spillage of the absorbent material. Bird cage should be covered with a dense, lightproof cloth.

Pets’ (birds’) weight, the weight of the container (cage) and food intended for pets’ (birds’) feeding are not included in the free baggage allowance and is payable by the passenger in accordance with the tariff set by the carrier.
